In January-February I joined a Global Healing Crusade team in southern India. We ministered to pastors in the mornings and to thousands of hungry people who filled the stadiums in the evenings. They came by the truck load (100 to a truck, standing room only) from the surrounding villages. As the Gospel was preached, thousands were saved, healed and delivered. I then continued on to north-east India to minister in a large church in Shillong for five days.

In October I joined a three-week Hebrew study tour of Israel. As we walked where Jesus walked, places in the Bible became real; the psalms leapt off the page, and we met Paul where he made his stand before Felix and King Agrippa in Caesarea. We explored the Masada where the courageous Jewish zealots, who preferred death to surrender, made their last heroic stand against the Romans. We drove across the vast eerie plains of Armageddon, where the world’s last great battles will be fought prior to the second coming of Christ. The tour gave us more than a glimpse of history; it brought a sense of eternity to our hearts.

From 18th July to 30 September 2008 I led a team to Yarrabah, the largest Aboriginal community in Australia. My commission from the Lord was to “teach the children to pray.” What a privilege it was to get to know some of our country’s original owners. Our team brought a protocol gift of tropical fruit and we were welcomed with a delicious barbeque, serving dugong (sea cow), sea salmon and sea turtle. The first week the Lord opened the doors for us to share the Gospel in 27 classrooms. After the team left, I continued to serve in the children’s church mentoring the children’s workers, and we started an after school kidspray club. The Holy Spirit moved among the children and also the women. It was a life-changing experience for me and our team.

In February, I was asked to join a ministry team (as a “scribe”) to a Korean church where children, youth, and others visited heaven. When they “came back” they told us of their experiences of heaven, meeting Jesus and others who had gone before. Jesus took some on a tour of hell. They discovered hell and heaven are real places. I also had a delightful time with a Maori family with whom I stayed.

In July I attended a Children in Prayer Global Consultation in Chennai. God is raising up children as intercessors in the nations around the world. The highlight of our trip was a visit to the Royal Kids Prayer Ministries where orphans, untouchables, and babies rescued from the trash heap are being raised up as powerful intercessors. More than 8,000 children have been mobilized to date.
